Fool for Love

Written by Sam Shepard, Directed by Gabriella Rose-Carter

Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love follows the story of May and Eddie, long-time off-and-on-again lovers with a dark secret and a tumultuous past.

Enter Martin, an innocent yard worker who arrives to take May on a date and along with the Old Man, a figment of May & Eddie’s imagination, is thrown into their spiraling reunion. Fool for Love is a fast-paced, heart-wrenching and at times hilarious tale.

Setting the play in present day, Q44 Theatre wish to breathe new life into this brilliantly conceived and timeless play by a world-renowned playwright. Fool for Love explores the themes of love, dysfunctional family relationships and female empowerment and will be an exciting and engaging experience for all theatregoers.
