Dear Q44 Patrons,

It has been a great disappointment to us to have to postpone the current season of “Donating Felix”. As you know Q44 is committed to presenting work which moves, challenges and provokes discussion and this play exemplifies those objectives. The cast and creative team have worked tirelessly to bring this piece to the stage and Q44 is very proud to be presenting the world premiere of this important work.

It was our intention to remount this work in June but Government advice now suggests that it may need to be later in the year. The situation with the COVID 19 virus is rapidly changing and as such makes it extremely hard to fix a firm date. However we remain absolutely committed to this course of action as we want “Donating Felix” to be seen by as many people as possible.

Our production of “Closer” which was scheduled for May, is also postponed until further notice. Similarly we remain committed to bringing this much lauded play to our stage.

Q44 is not in receipt of any Government subsidy and exists solely on box office and donations from our supporters. The cessation of all box office income will have a very serious impact on the company as we have already incurred the costs of mounting the production .

For those of you who have purchased tickets they will be valid for the remounted seasons of the respective plays. We understand that in these uncertain times there may be difficulties committing to an unknown future date and that a refund may be seen as a preferable option . However we ask that you consider the possibility of donating the cost of the ticket to Q44. As a registered not for profit organisation we are able to provide your donation with tax deductible status and will issue the appropriate receipt.

If you do require a refund this will be processed through TRYBOOKING and as you will appreciate this can take some time in the current circumstances. If you have any queries please direct your email to [email protected].

In the meantime we thank you for your patience and understanding and hope you stay safe and well in these difficult times. We hope to see you in the not too distant future when we can again come together to celebrate the unique experience of live theatre.
